Hi All,
You should also know that the parking lot is contributing HUGE amounts of
sediment to the stream at the corner of the lot. Its a violation of state
law. The ConComm should at the very least have hay bales and/or a silt
fence there to protect the stream during storms and snowmelt. Check it
out during a rainstorm or on a warm afternoon - its amazing!. This
siltation makes any purported damage by dogs pale in comparison. The silt
is a very REAL ecological problem that causes real harm to the ecological
integrity of the stream - its disingenous of the ConCom to complain about
dogs when they KNOW that they are polluting the stream and downstream
receiving water bodies.
